I have lived in the DC Metro Area for over three decades. As an 'time on the books' Washington resident, I'm always amazed to learn that our local news is everyone else's National news. Living here means being part of the pulse that can turn the world . It's not New York where the open minded embrace the creatives, or San Francisco- where food is an art and restaurant trends are born , or LA where beauty and fitness are expected. DC is about power and with that comes both good and bad. I'm happy to share the story of this big little town on the Potomac, where Kevin Bacon's 7 degrees of separation have become the 3 degrees of Kathy Fong.
