Jade Fontenelle

Hi my name is Jade Fontenelle and I am a section editor and a member of the Spartan Forum social media team. I am a springboard diver I will be attending University of West Florida where I will be diving as well.

When constructing my articles I enjoy writing about stories that are local. Specifically within the Skyline community. I covered every school dance, issues within the skyline community, as well as Skyline sports accomplishments.

One of my biggest take aways from journalism is looking at the importance of journalism within our everyday lives. Journalism provides information to the people and is necessary so people can make decisions after receiving as much information as possible. Journalism has also made me more involved with my community and I have been able to speak with people and find stories I would have otherwise never known about.
