Karen Foreman

I am the director of human resources at Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC). In this role, I serve as the college's multi-campus human resource officer and am responsible for talent management, leadership development, individual and organizational performance management, professional development, counseling/advising, compensation, policy development and compliance, rewards and recognition and safety and health.

Prior to joining higher education in 2003, I worked for sixteen years in senior-level human resource positions in private industry companies, Bayer Corporation and FisherScientific. I hold a master's degree in human resource management from Capella University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Averett University. I am PHR certified (Professional in Human Resource Management) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
