BioTechs originally started as a solution by a police officer. He was the last officer to leave a residential home where a suicide had occurred. The mother of the newly deceased was in tears as she asked him, "who would be cleaning up the mess". Unfortunately, he shared with her that she would be responsible for the cleanup. That incident played over and over again in this officer's head, and when he retired he felt compelled to offer a service that would help other grieving family members who find themselves in similar situations.
