In June 2013 I will begin teacher training with Teach First at the Summer Institute to begin teaching in September of 2013. This blog will chart my journey. It is a personal account of life in and around the classroom and at the same time, it is a pinning board for useful resources, articles and ideas etc. I know that teaching can be tough and this is a place where I can reflect on my own practice and share ideas with others. I am currently a 3rd undergraduate student in English Literature and fully aware that my life is about to be turned on its head. I have been reading other Teach First blogs to prepare myself for the onslaught of exciting but scary challenges and hope that this blog will be a pocket of information for other Teach Firsters and trainee teachers in the future.
