Forrest McIlwain

A retired electronics engineer with many years of experience in the field, Forrest McIlwain most recently worked as an ISA/ISS electronic repair depot supervisor with Integrated Systems Analysts, Inc., in Alexandria, Virginia. In this role, he oversaw the depot’s quality control program and ensured that daily production levels met the established standard. In addition to reducing the defective repair rate to less than 2 percent, Forrest McIlwain increased depot production by 87 percent.
In prior roles, Forrest McIlwain spent more than a decade as a senior field engineer with Modular Computer Systems in Vienna, Virginia, where he maintained a wide range of accounts for the federal government. During his time with Modular Computer Systems, he provided hardware support for several different types of government systems and handled a number of accounts from the private sector.
Before launching his career as an electronics engineer, Forrest McIlwain completed extensive coursework at the MODCOMP computer school and the AMPEX Corporation in San Francisco.
