Sergio Tapiro es un fotógrafo premiado internacionalmente, especialista en fotografía de naturaleza y fotos de volcanes. Ganador del Fotógrafo del Año 2017 de National Geographic Travel y World Press Photo 2016. En 2018 fue nombrado Embajador Nikon.

Una de sus fotografías de un volcán en erupción con un rayo es una de las fotos de volcanes más vistas a nivel mundial.

Sergio Tapiro es conferencista e instructor de workshops. Realiza fotografía comercial y participa en eventos empresariales y congresos como speaker y profesor. Sus fotos han sido publicadas en libros y artículos científicos, en la mayoría de los periódicos nacionales, en National Geographic, WIRED, CNN, Revista Cuartoscuro, Mexico desconocido, Artes de Mexico, Expansión, etc.

Sergio Tapiro es miembro de la Comunidad Mexicana de Fotógrafos de Naturaleza (CMFN). Fotógrafo del Ballet Folklórico de la Universidad de Colima, fotógrafo freelance de agencias internacionales.

Sergio Tapiro is an award-winning photographer that specializes on nature photography and volcano photography. Photojournalist, nature and documentary photography. Nikon Mexico Ambassador since 2018. Winner of 2017 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year, 2016 World Press Photo among other international contests. One of his winning photographs, that shows a volcano in eruption with a lightning is one if the best known volcano pictures around the world.
