Hello, I’m Maria.
I am an English speaking, DONA trained and certified Birth and Postpartum Doula living in Sofia, Bulgaria.
While serving the community for many years in public health research, doula work found me after I entered the world of motherhood. After experiencing multiple pregnancies and deliveries with various providers in different cities, states, and countries I felt frustrated by the lack of support. As your doula my mission is to help you navigate your birth journey and find peace, nourishment, and support in this new season of their life.
I thoroughly enjoy being a doula, a Certified Childbirth Educator, and a Certified Lactation Counselor.
I currently live in Sofia, Bulgaria, with my husband, three kids, and our Siberian Husky.
