Born in Grand Rapids, I grew up in and around economically diverse communities—such as ones that contribute heavily to the health care, automotive, and consumer goods manufacturing industries, among others. During my formative years, I had already wrapped my mind around the idea that I would be a successful business person bringing warmth and happiness to my clients. I only found out later that my goals would be secured through real estate—fueled by my unwavering desire to participate in neighborhood revitalization and my belief that everyone should become homeowners.

In 1995, I became a licensed Realtor® and started working with Westdale’s Better Homes & Gardens, concentrating on residential and commercial properties, where I quickly developed a deep understanding and appreciation for urban properties in Western Michigan. In 2002, my family relocated to the Southeastern part of the state and I became associated with ERA Majestic, where I focused on mortgages, which only added to the depth of my real estate background. As I worked and obtained more experience in the real estate industry, I became more confident in my abilities to handle managerial duties—so much so that I became the Branch Manager for both First Equity and Keys Realty from 2003. Currently I am heading up the Metro Detroit Branch of Brooks Real Estate in Novi, MI.

In addition to helping clients buy and sell homes, I am passionate about giving back to my community and my profession. I volunteer with Optimist of Detroit Developers, an organization dedicated to the improvement of youth and community. I’m also a board member for Fosters Solutions, a non-profit that is currently focused on a mentor program for troubled youth. I am currently the President of the Detroit Association of Realtors®; member of the Michigan Association of Realtors® (MAR); and member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). In addition, I am a certified short sale expert, specialize in REO and bank owned properties, HUD approved broker, and I enthusiastically service the tri-county area (Wayne, Oakland and Macomb).

Today, I enjoy life more than I ever imagined and, like a lot of people I know, I feel blessed to live and raise my children in the Southeastern part of the state. Remarkable opportunities abound for anyone looking and willing to help maintain an exceptional quality of life in this unspoiled area of the state. I pride myself on helping people realize their dreams
