North Belfast

I was born in North Belfast and grew up in the Cliftonville Road area and attended Holy Family Primary School Newington before moving on to St Patricks Secondary School (Barney) on the Antrim Road North Belfast

I worked for 15 years in the Theatre Directorate of the Ulster Hospital Dundonald where i was employed as an Anaesthetic Technician where i helped all sections of our community.

I set up my own Business in 1997 and continue to offer a service in the hospitality industry to visiting guests from all over the world and i take pride in being a cross community employer.

I went on a medical aid convoy to Gaza in Sept /Oct 2010 with the Viva Palestina Organisation which took 36 days on the road and delivered a 13 seater wheel chair accesable minibus to the Al Awda Hospital in Gaza City.

I was a columnist with the North Belfast News

I am a member of the National Union of Journalists and of Unite Irlenad the Trade Union.Movement.

I am Human Rights Activist and Political Commentator.
