Fran Davies
I am Fran Davies and I have been counselling for over fourteen years. Before that, I worked for fifteen years or so with young people and adults who were considering career or college choices.
Living in the North of Scotland, I see clients on a face to face basis, working with both couples and individuals. I also offer telephone counselling which allows you to talk to me without meeting face to face and to help reduce anxiety, as you can feel more anonymous. I have also worked with teenagers at a local High School and as such I am part of the team at Relationships Highland in Inverness.
I have a Diploma in Couple Counselling, Certificates in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) plus I'm a graduate of the Centre for Eating Disorders.
I am also a member of BACP. It is important that counsellors carry on training and keep their skills as polished as possible and so I attended regular training days and work-shops.
