Genealogy and Teach in Texas
My journey researching my family history began in 1981. A great love for genealogy developed while doing so. Our family is a strong pioneering stock with roots back to Plymouth Colony and Jamestown. It is made up of those who wanted a better life, freedom of worship and room to grow in. Texas has become a deep love of mine. I am the author of several blogs and several Family Groups. One blog is for genealogy sharing. My Langley Family Group [Langley Family -- Descendants of William Langley and Nancy Carrier] is on Facebook for sharing old photos, older member's stories and younger members to see where their roots began. I also have a Charles Whitson and Sarah Davis group for my mom's side same as the Langley group. My dearest hope is for my children and future generations to know their ancestors not just names.
My other passion is FamilySearch. Much of my time is spent assisting others through social media with their family research as well as working with FamilySearch support and the Chief Genealogical Officer's office.
I am also the president of my local Montgomery County Genealogical and Historical Society.
