In the 9th grade, I wrote my first piece of code in C++. Even though all it did was output "Hello World", on my screen, I knew that this thing could make people's lives better.

Since then, I've given up trying to program a robot to clean my room but I haven't given up on the fact that elegant design can lead to positive impact on the world.

This has led me to find cost effective solutions to energy problems, and market based solutions to global warming.

Now at Haas, I'm back to exploring how technology can make positive impact and corporations can make profits while helping people and the planet.
