Francesca Pollet of Cleveland grew up in Italy, where the country’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty shaped her early life. From a young age, she was captivated by languages, which led her to pursue a degree in Foreign Languages at the University of Venice. This academic journey gave her a strong foundation in linguistics and cultural studies, sparking a lifelong interest in global communication.

While studying at university, Francesca worked as a swimming instructor and lifeguard. These roles allowed her to combine her passion for water with developing practical skills, including leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Balancing her work and studies helped her refine her time management abilities, teaching her the importance of discipline and flexibility.

After completing her degree, Francesca moved to Amsterdam to work as an au pair. This experience immersed her in Dutch culture and provided an opportunity to enhance her language skills. Living in a new country deepened her understanding of the significance of communication in bridging cultural differences and fostering connections.

Upon returning to Italy, Francesca transitioned into the eyewear industry, where she began her career as an account manager and later progressed to sales manager. Her work involved building client relationships, understanding market needs, and providing tailored solutions. Her ability to communicate effectively and her natural talent for connecting with people was crucial to her success in these roles.

In 2010, Francesca’s personal life changed when she married her American husband and moved to California. Shortly after that, they welcomed their son, a joyous event that brought a new sense of purpose to her life. Francesca dedicated herself to creating a loving home for her family while also becoming actively involved in her local community.

Alongside her family commitments, Francesca continued to pursue her interests, including hiking, tennis, and reading. She also maintained her language skills, staying fluent in English and continuing to practice German, Spanish, and French.

After taking time off to focus on her family, Francesca is eager to re-enter the workforce. She brings a wealth of experience and a broad global perspective.
