Francesco Castelli

Born on 1989 in Mestre (VE), I graduate from high school on 2008 with the grade of 100/100. I started my Bachelor of Mathematics at University of Padua where I graduated on 2011 with a probabilistic -financial curriculum with a final grade of 101/110, defending the dissertation on "A stochastic programming model for the optimal iussance of government bonds", with Tiziano Vargiolu as supervisor. I am currently doing my Master of Mathematics at University of Padua, where I am going to graduate on July 2014. During the Master, I took part to the "International Summer Program Management" program, spending a month at University of Michigan attending the course "Management skills development", hold by professor Gubitta and Thomas Callahan. Moreover, I took part to the Erasmus Project, spending 10 months at Cardiff University in order to write the Master thesis "Fractional bivariate Pearson diffusions and applications to Finance" with the supervision of professor Nikolai Leonenko.

I am working part-time in a online company for cosmetics. I collaborated from 2012 to 2013 with a Market Research company (Pragma S.r.l) with some data collection for statistic purpose, some of them in quality of mystery client.

In the spare time, I am keen about cycling, I coached for five years the "Esordienti" category of U.C Mirano, organizing among other things training tables and tactics for the competition.During these five years, I won everything I could win, including two Italian championships and I was elected provincial coach of the year by Venice Committee on 2010. I am very committed to the volunteer activity and to develop the integration between international people, in order to become open-minded, enhancing interpersonal skills and self-awareness. I have been a member of YAP (Young Action for Peace) association since 2012 and I took part with them in two volonteer work-camp, in Wells (Maine) and in Alcalà la Real (Spain).
