Francesco Cretti
Web Developer and Media Engineer in Turin, Italy
I’m Francesco. I was born in Trento, Italy in 1990. I studied Telecommunication Engineering at Università degli Studi di Trento. In 2014 I moved to Turin and got a Master’s degree in Media and Cinema Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.
I'm currently working as a font-end developer with a focus on interactive data-visualizations for a company called Synapta.
I also design digital applications for cultural heritage with a team called Mezzo Forte.
Passionate about music, art and multimedia, to take part in projects that involve technology and creativity is a natural fit. I'm interested in fields such as web development, interaction design and digital humanities but also sound design and artistic installations.
From October 2017 to April 2018 I worked as a developer and interaction-designer in a multidisciplinary project called Web Wall Whispers, carried out by Fondazione Spinola-Banna per l’Arte with the partnership of Politecnico di Torino and researchers of IRCAM Institute in Paris.
I play guitar and I'm a member of an instrumental music project started in 2014, with which I play regularly live shows and publish original music.
In the last years I've been also working as a sound designer and sound editor for cinema and video (such as A Believer): you can check out my demo reel.
