Francesco Filigoi

Francesco Filigoi is the lead guitarist of the Progressive Metal band ABIOGENESIS.

Born and raised in Italy, he began playing at the age of 12 and since then, his love for the instrument has never ceased to inspire him and push the boundaries of instrumental music. With a vast session and live experience, he's toured across Europe along with Decapitated, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Suffocation, Nile, Destruction, and others.
Since 2005, he teaches guitar, bass and music production at his studio, at public masterclasses or online, with the recent addition of Bandhappy to his teaching channels. As a solo artist, he appears on various projects as guest/session player, and produces bands at his own studio.

Influenced by artists such as Jason Becker, Guthrie Govan and many others, he's now working on the Abiogenesis debut album.
