Francesco Funari

After graduating in 2007 and completing a stage at Targetti in Florence, I was employed there as a Lighting consultant. During three years I’ve been carring out concepts and lighting projects concerning many different applicaion fields (interior, outdoor, contract, retail, museums). I worked in a team of six people, each one with a different cultural background coming from architecture, engineering, design and visual. In 2009 I started to work in the Marketing department, where I began to study and realize market analysis as well as the management of the two main product collections (indoor and outdoor fixtures), and the promoting initiatives connected to them. Today I work as Product manager being responsible of a small team of two people concerning the Design development and Prototyping. I work on the market positioning and the definition of the new products, following the whole product’s lifecycle and thus coordinating the different development phases starting from the concept up to the production and pre-series realization, before the market launch. I monitorize the competitors and create the contents to describe them in deep in order to share them with the sales force (both national and international) during dedicated meetings; I provide the Editing office with all the necessary informations to create the contents for the communication and promotion of the products.
