Francesco Landucci is an Italian multi-instrument player and music producer.He plays guitars and various ethnic instruments like Sitar, Saz, Bouzouki and some self-made instruments.He has obtained a certificate in phonic and MIDI recording techniques at Conservatorio Mascagni of Livorno in ‘97 and, afterwards, received the certificate as sound engineer at Scuola Musicale Lizard of Grosseto in 1999.
Francesco loves many kinds of music and their crossovers, the sonic experiment, but he has also worked to some commercial music with international DJs and singers.
He has composed music for soundtracks and timings for various music companies and similar, such as Rai Trade, GB Music , Fridge / Goodfellas, Soundiva, Apbeat and Radiophonic, acronym for Radio Rai 1.
Landucci has done a lot of studies about ancient music and often holds seminars and live performances in important national museums with his project “Archeologia Sonora Sperimentale”. He played with one of his world beat music project ,"Tilak", in many Italian festivals and also abroad.
He is an authentic musical experiencer, combining ancient and modern music, using ethnic or homemade instruments mixed with synths and drum machine and loves to use the Loop technique for his solo live performance.
He is also a Sound Designer and works for some contemporary artists.
Francesco Landucci is currently the resident sound engineer at Poderino Recording Studio in Pisa, Tuscany, where he had the chance to work with important artists such as Harold Budd (Brian Eno,David Sylvian,U2) , Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) , Eraldo Bernocchi (Bill Laswell , Raiz,Giovanni Lindo Ferretti) , Paul McCandless (Oregon,Trilok Gurtu), and many others musicians ... see at www.poderinorecordingstudio.com
