Francesco Liistro

Improving businesses as a portfolio company CEO necessitates experience and sensitivity. Sensitivity to the operations of the business at hand, and the know-how to see which processes are working and which need help. Francesco Liistro’s 25 year track record is filled with companies that he’s been able to sheperd into higher/more profitability and proficiency, but he always believes his best work is still ahead of him.

Francesco Liistro currently serves as Managing Partner at KL Industries, a leading Performance Improvement Consulting firm based in Switzerland which collaborates with private equity funds, venture capital, and family offices to reimagine and transform underperforming portfolio companies.

In addition to Harvard Business School, Francesco Liistro attended Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, where he received a degree in Economics. He later attained his MBA from ESADE Business School and completed the EXECUTIVE Education Program at IESE Business School, both in Barcelona.

Francesco Liistro is a member of several international industry organizations, including the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), and European Association of Certified Turnaround and Performance Improvement Professionals (EACTP) where he sits on the Standard Admission Committee.

Francesco currently resides in Lucerne, Switzerland with his wife and son.
