FrancescoLipari is a Sicilian architect based in Rome.
Recipientsof several prizes, including the Architizer People Choice Award2014 and 2015 with an interactive garden called Sainthorto and asmall auditorium for insects and humans named Wunderbugs, Francesco has been recipient of eight Maker Faire Europe merit, lecturer at MAXXI and MACRO museum and curator of various architecture projects.
He’sfounding principal of OFL Architecture, an interdisciplinary architectural practice focused on emergentdesign processes through a design methodology that integratesarchitecture with other disciplines, redefining the relationship ofthe significant modern city and its current urban conditions. He’salso founding partner and artistic director of Cityvision, an original printed magazine and architecture platform with the aimof generating a dialogue between the contemporary city and its futureimage.
Hewas formerly senior architect at Fuksas office in Rome, Mad inBeijing and 3gatti in Shanghai.
Heis one of the first architects involved in the sociological project Farm Cultural Parkwhich aim is to turn, through contemporary art and architecture, thewhole historical centre of Favara into the second tourist attractionafter the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
Francesco’s work has been internationally exhibited and published including MoMA NY and WUHO Gallery Los Angeles that hold the first internationalexhibition Worlds of Cityvision.
Heis managing the PechaKucha Night in Romeand since 2013 he's been writing for WiredItalia.
