Francisca ogochukwu Onukansi is a public health professional in training. Passionate about young people's development, research, gender equality, menstrual health, and sustainable development. She is the president and ambassador of the Period Pride campaign Nigeria.

Through her passion for menstrual health, she leads a team of passionate menstrual hygiene advocates and has done a lot of work in this aspect. She is also a member of the Girl Up Foundation which has fostered her advocacy for a gender-inclusive world.

Francisca believes in Implementation research hence her involvement in research-driven projects to produce evidence-based data to help inform policymakers.

Currently, she is undergoing training as an SDGs advocate through the opportunity offered by the sustainable development solution network(SDSN). Francisca is motivated to take action to improve people's livelihood through innovative thinking.

She is actively pushing for an end to period Poverty in Nigeria, and she is doing this through her charity “ Period Pride Campaign Nigeria”
