Francisco Ledesma is a visual artist from Aguascalientes, Mexico, where he currently resides and conducts his artistic work. He has studies in the fields of psychology, philosophy, music and literature, in addition to the ones in the area of visual arts.Francisco Ledesma left school and traditional artistic training because of his desire to experiment in order to make a contribution to the renewal of painting technique, so his current job is the product of self-education. Also, he had to "unlearn" the traditional pictorial lessons, to learn a new way to creatively express his ideas about painting. The artistic work of Francisco Ledesma is outside the orbit of any school or trend, it's a completely personal work, based on the use of techniques and procedures of oil painting created and developed by him, which makes his work original and unique. These findings are the result of experimentation and reflection on the field of painting. He is the author of the consolidated technique known as Oil Dispersion, for which he is best known. Francisco Ledesma's work is present through his creative process and his ability to experiment, discover, understand, and apply new knowledge, methods, techniques and ideas to the field of painting.
