A passionate, highly experienced information architect and user experience designer, I have over 20 years' experience designing large-scale, functionally- rich websites and web applications that delight their users and deliver commercial value to the business. I led the information architecture department at Wheel (now LBi), was director of user experience at Isotoma, and senior user experience architect for all News products at the BBC. I am currently a principal UX designer at Foolproof.
I'm used to representing the agency at the highest level, from initial stakeholder engagement and online strategy definition, through research and design, to presentation and delivery.
What motivates me? One the one hand, an abiding enthusiasm for the internet and its potential to create new modes of communication, commerce and entertainment. On the other, a deep sense of empathy for people reliant on but also frustrated by ever more technology in their lives. I find the ever-evolving practice of digital product design exciting and meaningful.
