Frank J. Vivolo

Frank Vivolo is a fourth generation restaurateur that grew up over his family's Vivolo restaurant on New York's Upper East Side. Growing up with a family "in the business," Frank learned all aspects of the restaurant. After a two year stint working in technology, Frank left his desk job and attended the French Culinary Institute's Restaurant Management program to help prepare him for his next adventure. In 2003 at the age of 24 Frank re-opened his father's Anche Vivolo with the new concept of bar.vetro, featuring a small plates, modern Italian menu.

At 27 Frank went solo and opened his own concept, bruschetteria, a cafe and wine bar, on New York's hip Lower East Side.

Frank is currently the Director of Operations for The Vivolo Restaurant Group which includes Vivolo, bar.vetro, bruschetteria and two locations of Cucina Vivolo.
