I have more suitcases than most women have shoes. I've ridden camels in Morocco, visited a school for butlers in London, gotten lost in the back streets of Jerusalem, and hiked the bush with Aborigines in Australia. Yet I am equally happy paddling the salt marshes on my home, the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I have over 200 published articles, blogged for Chesapeake Life Magazine, written Art Drives on Delmarva: a guidebook to visual arts in DE/MD/VA, and am a writer for Striped Pot - a boutique on-line travel journal. I'm a member of the International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association, Editorial Freelancers Association, Freelance Writers Den, Media Bistro, Media Kitty, Eastern Shore Writers Association, US Dressage Federation, Peninsula Dressage, and the American Yankee Association -- the owners group for Grumman light aircraft. Married, one son, one horse, three dogs.
