In March 2012, Franziska made her film debut in “FILTH“ starring James McAvoy.

Franziska Rita Maria Altmeyer was born and raised in Moers, Germany. Most of her childhood was spent with her grandparents and aunt and uncle who encouraged her to learn the piano and to dance.

She spent her teenager years competing in equestrian events, and was a member of the first childrens group in the world to be trained by Monty Roberts, whose life inspired Robert Redford’s film “The Horse Whisperer“.

She had her first stage appearance at the age of 6 with her hometown's classical theatre company. Upon graduation, she moved to NYC to follow her idol's footsteps, Frank Sinatra, and study acting.

Today, she resides in Los Angeles, Ca.
