My passion for Quality and Continual Improvement began with my brief time with W. Edwards Deming. That led to years of study and introductions to other Quality and Productivity Improvement Pioneers including Dr. Joseph Juran, Phillip Crosby and many others. The critical thinking of these knowledge leaders is now credited by some as the foundation of Six Sigma. Many suggest however that their core teachings have been hijacked and stripped of their primary purpose that was to benefit of humanity and changed it's focus to serve those seeking short term gain at the expense of society. I advocate a paradigm shift in the application and practice of Quality Improvement and Organizational Excellence back to one with a focus that brings benefits to all of society and humanity.
