Fred Perry

A graduate of Florida State University, Mr. Fred Perry is proud to lead Learn to Fly Centers of America to excellence both in the sky and in the community. With over thirty years of experience in corporate banking, Perry leverages his global finance background from Bank of America and US Trust with his passion for flying.

Perry, an accomplished philanthropist and community member, dedicates his time on the boards of various Broward County civic and charitable organizations such as Boys and Girls Club, Urban League, and the Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council. In 2004, Perry was named Broward County’s Role Model of the Year.

Prior to his college days at FSU, Perry served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He continues to support the U.S. Military through his involvement as a trustee for the U.S. Coast Guard Foundation.

Perry is happily married and father of three children, Margo and Ian, both graduates of Florida State University, and Austin, who is currently studying at Columbia University after two combat tours with the U.S. Marine Corps in Afghanistan.

Flight instructor by profession, having several years of experience in flight training and discovery flights. Trained hundreds of students with introductory flight lessons.

Fred is also involved in social activities and is actively working towards betterment of Broward County. He is also involved in the welfare of girls and boys communities and also in leadership events.
