Since joining Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago in 2017, Freddy and his team have led the transformation of the organization's brand and communication strategy.
Freddy oversees all aspects of Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago's brand, communications, creative design, direct marketing, and media relations. He is responsible for promoting Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago's mission to internal and external constituents through the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies.
By combining a traditional marketing function with donor experience, communications, and brand strategy, Freddy has built a team to drive efficiency, innovation, and creativity. As a result, his work continually elevates the 24 Clubs across the Chicagoland area.
Previously, Freddy held various marketing and communication roles at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he led strategic communications, social media, and brand engagement campaigns.
Freddy received a Master's degree in Public Relations and Sports Marketing from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Iowa.
