My name is Fred Brown; I am the founder of FreddieSaid.com.

Since joining the Army, I have become a Public Affairs Broadcast Specialist. My first assignment was in Wiesbaden, Germany and from there I was able to travel around Europe. I deployed to Afghanistan in December 2011 and worked as a radio DJ for the first half of my tour for the American Forces Network (AFN). As soon as I could, I started traveling around the country, telling stories of the great men and woman in uniform.

After being stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, I started my journey towards a Masters degree in New Media Journalism from my Alma Mater, Full Sail University. That led me to starting FreddieSaid.com.
