Friends Of Arise Academy

The Friends Of Arise Academy (FOAA) Alumni Program is a unique organization that support Alumni (graduates) and graduating "senior" students from the Arise Academy Charter High School. We provide life and leadership skills opportunities that will aid in finding the appropriate academic, social, life skills support for each student to succeed in the future (before, during, and after he/she ages out of connected systems of care). FOAA differs from most Alumni Programs because our primary objective is to produce model citizens from foster care backgrounds who support the growth and development of future model citizens. Everyone is a role model! This entity of the program is illuminated through a process that provides structure, discipline, moral support, counseling, empowerment and self-sustainability. The core values of FOAA revolve around Transformation, Authenticity, Respect, and Integrity.

We are purposed to serve our Alumni population in the following areas:

- Support Career Choices
- Support Engagement in Higher Education placement
- Model and Teach Life & Leadership Skills
