Fris founded an internet investment company in 1995 specializing in liquid domain assets which portfolio was acquired by a mobile advertising technology company.
He is now an active investor and a strategic adviser involving in various high-tech entrepreneurial ventures with a focus on early and expansion stage investments in the enterprise software and cloud computing sectors. He has made a number of successful and high profile investments including Dialpad, a Voice-Over-IP telecommunication technology service (acquired by Yahoo!), and ColdFusion, a commercial rapid web application development platform (acquired by Adobe).
Fris graduated from MIT and received an MBA from UCLA Anderson. His career spans a wide array of leadership experience in technology consulting and supply chain management for Fortune 500 companies.
