Funmi Falobi, is a multifaceted media-communications professional and academic dedicated to driving social change through effective communication. She is currently the National Publicity Secretary of the University of Lagos Alumni Association

As a Development Journalist, Social Development Advocate, PR/Media Consultant, and Media Trainer, Funmi leverages her expertise to promote socio-economic development.

With over 15 years of experience in the media industry, Funmi Falobi's career trajectory spans roles as a reporter, correspondent, and editor.

Notably, she worked as State House Correspondent for Daily Independent Newspapers and later as Editor of the Foreign Desk.

She is lead/Editor @ Social Development News.

Her academic credentials include Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

She currently lectures at Caleb University, Imota, Lagos.

Her vocational interest straddles social impact endeavours. She is Coordinator of the Initiative for Social Impact and Sustainable Development (ISISD), a non-governmental organisation focused on advancing social change through advocacy and media communications. Her commitment to empowering girls, boys, women, and youths drives her work.

She is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), and a member of prestigious professional and academic associations such as the Association of Communication and Scholars Professional of Nigeria (ACSPN), African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), and Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ).

Her international, regional and national influence is further shown by her role as West Africa Ambassador for the World Day of the Boy Child, showcasing her dedication to advocating for boys development beyond Nigeria's borders.
