Furniture Land South
Established in 1969, home furnishings retailer Furnitureland South leads the industry in size, selection, innovation, and attention to service. Located in Jamestown, near High Point, North Carolina, Furnitureland South is considered the world’s largest furniture store with more than 1 million square feet of showroom space.
On display at Furnitureland South are furniture and accessories from more than 500 manufacturers, ranging from traditional makers such as Broyhill and Lane Furniture to high-end brands such as Baker Furniture and Barbara Barry by Henredon. Committed to environmentally friendly design, Furnitureland South unveiled the Eco-Link gallery in June 2009, the first retail space in the High Point area dedicated entirely to sustainable home furnishings.
A forward-looking company, Furnitureland South continually adopts 21st-century technologies to help enhance the shopping experience for its customers. In June 2011, the company released an iPhone app with a number of innovative features, including guided navigation of its showroom and Quick Response scanning of product codes, which can be used to pinpoint showroom locations or to store product information in a personal wish list.
