I’ve really fell in love with local, family run, sustainable farms in the Farmington Valley of Connecticut. My blog, tumblr and twitter feed highlight and tell the stories about these farms, farmer's markets, and farm to table dinners in my area.

My Goals:
1. Share content on local farms and the families that run them.

2. Be a voice for creating awareness around the benefits of eating local.

3. Connect people with opportunities to enjoy local foods in fun settings.

I’m going to tell the story of food’s journey from seeds into the ground, through the growth cycle, harvest, journey to the market, journey to the buyer's home, food preparation, and then being enjoyed by family and friends. I think you will enjoy the visual journey. Best of all, this is going to give me the opportunity to help local farmers promote their family businesses.
