Chryssa Gagosi
Art Director, Teacher, and Designer in Athens, Greece
Chryssa is currently the Pathway Leader for both Master's and Bachelor's programmes for Digital Design at Vakalo of Art and Design College. She designed and structured both programmes, validated by the University of Derby (UK) based on the ongoing need of the design industry for professionals with an artistic background and creative thinking. She teaches Introduction to Digital Design for first-year students, Entrepreneurship and Application Design for third-year students, and User Experience Design in the Master’s programme. She supervises bachelor's and master's theses. For the past 9 years, she has run a one-year Digital Design course for professionals with over 100 graduates who have successfully integrated into new positions as digital designers.
Chryssa has run numerous workshops within companies such as L’ Oreal, Plaisio, Eurobank, Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and more, with teams from varying departments up to C-level.
Chryssa has spent more than 15 years working in Advertising and Digital agencies for multinational brands and startups, with positions such as Head of Design Services, Design Thinking Lead & Service Design, and Creative Director, which gave her a unique perspective on the Design process and Workflow. She has worked for clients like Unilever, Wind, Nestle, OPAP, and Cosmote, as well as some unique and upcoming start-ups. Chryssa has won numerous awards for her work. She co-founded two companies in the field of Social Media and Software Development.
Chryssa is serving her peers as a judge at awwwards and AIVA.
Chryssa works as a consultant with various companies on design projects, team management, and growth. She identifies what truly drives innovation, turns users into brand ambassadors, and delivers solutions to real problems with successful results.
She holds a Master of Arts in Digital Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Photography.
