Hello, I’m Grace! Currently a first-year Creative Industries student at Ryerson University, I have a passion for both business and the arts. As I work toward my minors in Marketing, Professional Communication, and French, I hope to obtain a position in the sport and entertainment industry—with a focus on branding through the use of engaging advertisements and public relations.

Through my extracurricular involvements, I have been and continue to be an active and diligent team member with a high attention to detail. As the present Junior Finance and Sponsorship at the Creative Industries Course Union, I’ve worked closely with a group of 14 individuals to plan and host various events, such as our annual Panel and Showcase, with an emphasis on gathering external sponsors and creating financial documents. In addition, I currently am employed at Ryerson’s Undergraduate Admissions & Recruitment as a Campus Tour Guide. Previous experience includes my role as Vice President on my high school’s Art Council and volunteering at the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games, Skate Canada, and Canadian Paralympic Committee.

I have primarily focused my efforts in customer service positions that have enhanced my ability to communicate and resonate with other individuals to better serve clients. I’m extremely approachable, and would love to improve both my technical and soft skill-sets with a creative industry company. Did I also mention that I possess a Honours Certificate of Bilingual Studies in Extended French—making me trilingual? (I also speak Mandarin.) As per future endeavours, a Master’s degree would be nice too.
