Gab Zota (Gabriel Zota) is a DJ born on June 13, 1991, from Prato, Italy, bringing high-energy vibes and electrifying sounds to every set. Specializing in EDM (House), Dirty Dutch, and Electro House, Gab blends powerful drops, driving rhythms, and melodic grooves to create an unforgettable experience on the dancefloor. My journey into DJing started at 15, when I got hooked on the sound of m2o Radio Italy. Shows like Real Trust opened my ears to electronic music in a whole new way—that’s where I first discovered Tiësto and fell in love with the energy of the scene.

Around the same time, my brother brought home Pioneer CDJs and a Numark mixer, and that’s when everything became real for me. Before that, I was already deep into music with my Creative MP3 player, loaded with Tupac Shakur’s full hip-hop discography, which shaped my sense of rhythm and vibe.

As I explored more online, I discovered DJs like Chuckie and Laidback Luke.

Other musical influences include Gabber and harder electronic sounds, which helped shape my energy, rhythm, and passion for powerful dance music. From EDM (House) and Dirty Dutch to harder underground styles, I’ve always been drawn to music that brings intensity, emotion, and movement to the crowd.

His real DJ journey began with a TIDAL account and a Naim Mu-so Qb, where he started mixing by instinct — tapping into lyrics, timing, and energy. Soon after, that evolved into editing music with software, shaping the sound and style that defines his work today.

In 2012, Gab Zota adopted the number 888 — a symbol he saw as infinity, represented through the repetition of the number 8 three times. To him, it stood for freedom, a philosophy he even carried onto the license plate of his first car, a Porsche Cayman. Today, 888 lives on as a signature series of mixes edited by Gab Zota, paired with another defining symbol from his former advertising and marketing company, Rockstar Media Inc.: the star — uniting two emblems that represent vision, creativity, and limitless expression.

Under the name Gab-Z, Gab Zota launched the G Series — a dedicated Hip Hop mix series built around raw energy, sharp selection, and creative reinterpretation. The project represents his expansion into Hip Hop culture, bringing his signature editing style and precision-driven approach to a new sound while establishing Gab-Z as his distinct identity within the genre.
