Gabe Carmona is an award winning instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and composer known for his distinct brand of genre-crossing Smooth Jazz, R&B, HipHop, Island, and Classical music. Mining the sounds of musically-rich urban Bay Area (CA), he began his musical studies at the piano. Inspired by bands and artists such as Earth Wind & Fire, GRP, Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente, Chucho Valdes and many others, Carmona started composing original material and hasn't stopped creating since. His skill and professionalism on and off the stage has enabled him to hold several titles including Artistic Director and Music Director while collaborating in various writing sessions at Universal Records, Capitol Records, Sony, Warner Brothers, and iHeart Radio to name a few. In addition to these opportunities, he has recently agreed to start productions for media outlets such as BBC, BravoTV, MTV, and VH1.
Having worked and/or performed with countless industry all-stars such as Wyclef Jean, George Benson, The Wailers, Steve McCarty, O-Shen, Fiji, and many others, Carmona continues to build his catalog of productions and has since founded the 88k Media Group based in Nashville, TN. This new company is a partner to Carmona Legacy Music, a company founded by Gabe and his brother Mike.
