Professional musician, educator, writer and activist. I started off as a professional musician touring the world at age 19, became a drug addict and went to jail to run with the Mexican Mafia where I learned about our prison system. I sobered up utilizing Vipassana meditation, released a conscious solo album and became an activist. I went back to school to get a degree in criminology and I began working with many human rights organizations. I have worked with the American Indian Movement, the US State Dept, OccupyLA, and exclusively with Anti Injustice Movement, Universal Zulu Nartion, Guerrilla Republik, and Grand Unified. I teach music, play professionally with a variety of bands in different styles, am a student and I love food.
