Hi, my name is Gabriel,I am originally from Canada but I have been living in Asia since 2011.

I have extended experience in digital transformation to empower business to leverage data at the core of their strategies. My specialities is building high achieving engineering team to navigate complex business projects.

Currently, I am the Vice-President of Engineering at EIC Education. I oversee themodernization of EIC sales system architecture to support the transformation of EIC into a leading global education. By taking advantage the latest engineering best practices (DevOps, CI, microservices), EIC can be more reactive and quickly adapt to business changes.

Furthermore, I guide EIC effort to map our customer learning journey through our ecosystems of applications ( http://www.prepsmith.com). Our goals is to provide both our teachers and students with the best tools and analytics to better achiever their learning objectives.

I am also a core team organiser of Techyizu. We are a volunteered based organisation supported by sponsors that put together events to facilitate the development of the technology community in Shanghai. We have organised events such as:

- Fail Faster, 2 day workshop on customer development and Lean Startup

- Designing Shanghai, 1 day human centered design workshop

- Open Data Shanghai, 24 hour data hackathon

- Barcamp, Shanghai largest un-conference.

I also co-founded Urbantigers, one of Shanghai largest running communities. Our aim is to make running accessible to everyone and to help our members to transition to long distance running.
