Gabriela Gomes
For over a decade Gabriela Gomes’ focus has been on cross-cultural education and international relations. She served as a researcher at the International Center for Human Sustainable Development in Costa Rica and as a Field Researcher in Brazil. She has worked with international exchange focusing on Brazil and United States relations and as a Program Coordinator at International Programs for MIT Sloan School of Management.
Currently Gabriela is the Program Coordinator for the Action Learning Program at MIT Sloan School of Management. Gabriela's responsibilities include day-to-day program operations, activities, logistics and providing excellent customer service to host companies. She works closely with a team of faculty, staff, clients, and students to provide action learning courses to over 500 graduate students per year.
Gabriela’s work at MIT Sloan includes managing program operations for relationships with the Lisbon MBA in Portugal, Moscow School of Management Skolkovo in Russia and Sabanci University in Turkey. Gabriela has also served as the liaison for Chinese students’ visits to MIT Sloan from Tsingua in Beijing, Lingnan in Guangzhou, Yunnan in Kunming and Fudan in Shanghai.
Gabriela is an candidate for a MA at Boston University in the Global Development Policy program with a track in Governance and Political Economy and she has a BS from Northeastern University in Political Science (with honors) with a concentration in International and Comparative Politics. She is a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and fluent in Spanish. Gabriela has travelled extensively throughout North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.
