Gabriela Bernal

My name is Gabriela and I'm a Korean affairs analyst and freelance writer.

I'm originally from the Dutch Caribbean, from a tiny island called Curaçao. I have been traveling extensively from a young age and speak six languages.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Arizona State University and graduated with a BSc in political science and a minor in history (Summa Cum Laude, age 19).

I also obtained a dual master's degree from Sciences Po Paris (human rights) and King's College London (international peace and security) by 21.

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate studying North Korean and Unification Studies at the University of North Korean Studies in Seoul.
