Gabriela Torres

My name is Gabriela Torres and I am currently a sophmore at Northeastern Illinois University studying Special Education. I was inducted in the Golden Apple Scholar program in 2011 and am currently enjoying my summer at Irene Hernandez Middle School facilitating 6th grade students. I also am a student aid for GEAR UP . Through GEAR UP I recieve the opportunity to work with 7th , 8th, and high school students and families in their journey to college. I hope to one day work with exceptional students in the primary levels and make a difference in the lives of the students I encounter.
