Gabriel Caillaux
Co-President, Managing Director, and Head of Climate in London
Gabriel Caillaux is Head of Climate, Co-President, Managing Director and Head of General Atlantic’s business in EMEA. He is a member of the firm’s Executive and Portfolio Committees, in addition to the Global Growth Equity and BeyondNetZero Investment Committees. Since joining the firm in 2004, Gabriel has helped expand the firm’s investment focus across the greater European region to include Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He focuses on investments in the Financial Services and Technology sectors. Before joining General Atlantic, Gabriel worked in the telecoms, media & technology division at Merrill Lynch in London and New York.
Gabriel serves on the boards of portfolio companies Argus Media, ISS STOXX, and Partners Capital. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the ESCP EAP European School of Management in Finance. Gabriel also serves as a trustee for Parasol Unit.
