Gabriel Cossette

Gabriel has been working at Parks Canada in Québec for 7 years. He began as an IT Support Administrator and he is now working as an IT Services Specialist. He is engaged in many national projects like the employees’ remote access portal and the official IT desktop environment.

He is keen on open source software and is very active in this field. He strongly believes in the importance of using open formats and open source software appropriately, especially in a governmental perspective. In the Quebec Federal Council in IT (QFCIT), Gabriel is the coordinator of the community of practice about open source software.
