There is this saying, "If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path". I believe that deep inside of everyone there is this desire to help his or her fellowman... that the unmet needs of the world don't always rest well with our souls.

I believe it is time that the hospitality industry reflects MORE than just it's goal of turning a profit. Making money is relatively easy...making a lasting impact on someone's life is the true challenge.

I personally would like to rise to that challenge and dedicate my life to helping people who can't help themselves whilst meeting the needs of our industry. I want to transform the hospitality industry and bring it back to the core of its definition: the act of serving simply to serve.

I have traveled to many countries and I have seen first-hand the needs of the world and I believe that true, genuine and sincere hospitality can be the catalyst for change in the world today. I admit this is a CrAzY idea but I say "Why not dream it anyways?"

Lawerence Le Shan said once, " Don't worry about what the world wants from you, worry about what makes you more alive. Because what the world really needs are people who are MORE alive...and passionate!"

Genuine and sincere care is a PASSION of mine because I know the benefits of receiving it first-hand. I know what it feels like to be unplanned, unwanted and unloved...but I also know what it feels like to be helped, healed and made whole. What a beautiful exchange and because of it I have decided that my mission in life is to live for something bigger than myself. I am convinced that the hospitality industry will be my platform and as I embarque on this adventure I hope you will join in on the journey.

I know in life there will be crossroads I will come up to and when I get there i'm suppose to have to decided either to take this way or that way BUT something inside of me screams "It's not either/or but both and more! It's not either/or but both and MORE!!!"

So I ask myself...

either/or?

both and more?

I choose BOTH AND MORE...
