I was most recently assigned as Forward Operating Base (FOB) Commander for the NAEW&FC E3-A Component.

I have run both flying and ground operations for the nation of Italy, NATO and the United Nations during conflicts in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Eritrea and Syria. My aviation expertise includes Aerophotogrammetry, Flight Checks, Distinguished Personnel (DP) transportation, Reconnaissance and Early Warning Control. During my career I led unit training and safety, wing operations and was responsible for Directorate-level discipline, finances and administration.

I planned and managed major projects such as infrastructure renovations and facility upgrades, to include overseeing international bidding procedures and awarding contracts. I have extensive experience in a multicultural work environment and strong english skills. I am trained in Human Resources, Safety Management and Crew Resource Management. Leading by examples one of my fundamental goals. I am married to Stephanie Weaver a United States Air Force Pilot. We reside near Ramstein (Germany).

SPECIALITIES

Leadership and Administration

Commander and supervisor of national and international units in peacetime and wartime situations. Trained in diversity with seven years NATO experience as well as United Nations operational and managerial experience. Commanded and supervised more than 1000 people throughout career. Extensive experience in selecting, training and evaluating of personnel.

Resource Management

Responsible for an annual budget of more than 2 million Euros.

Project management

Led projects up to 600.000 Euros. Expert in managing projects in a resource constrained environment.

Flying

More than 3000 hours flown in T-37, T-38, P180, P166 and E-3A airframes. Over 1000 hours as an Instructor and Evaluator Pilot on both aircraft and simulators. Experience in Aerophotogrammetry, Flight Check, Reconnaissance, DP Transport and Early Warning Control. Supported operations in wartime and peacetime environments.
