Game Designer/ Developer/ Tester/ Localizer/ Red Mage for hire. Freelancing through upwork. Worked as Localization Tester (EA) and Generalist Programmer (Battlesheep). Video Game Design and Computer Engineering graduate. Hobbyist pixel artist and Magic: the Gathering card designer. Native portuguese, fluent in english. Dislike using capital Is in the middle of sentences; it just feels arrogant.

I’m passionate about video games and follow the industry closely. My goal is to have my games played by as many people as possible but truly i just want to be in the industry, even if that means being behind a Gamestop counter or serving coffee to Ken Levine.

Professionally i identify as a game designer first and a developer second.
As a game designer i have academic experience in every area, particularly gameplay and level design. I enter game jams often and have a plethora of games and prototypes in my portfolio.
As a game developer my specialty is high-level gameplay programming, using Flash (Actionscript 3) and Unity (C# / Unityscript). I’m an intuitive programmer, meaning that theory questions are lost on me, but am a quick, adaptable learner.
I’m also fond of UX, QA, image/video editing, 2D pixel art and animation, narrative/character creation and storyboarding, and willing/expecting to learn about any other area i may be of use in.
